VW Commercial

This is a mockup commercial for Volkswagen to say sorry and bring their customers back after the emission scandle.

The main idea is a metaphor of the relationship between Volkswagen and their customers affected by this scandle, which is just like the relationship between a broke up couple.

In the video, there is a confussion in the beginning to let audiences think the girl was breaking up with her boyfriend. Funnily, it reveals that it has always been the VW car at the end. Through this little story, VW remind customers the good things of their cars, show they are making things right ( giving away new cars ) and the confidence on getting their customers back.

sorry

The girl shuts the car door, angrily saying "I am done!" like breaking up with her boyfriend.

The girl sees a old post in facebook that she was having a great time with her "boyfriend", which triggers her memories.

The girl thinks of the happy memories when she was being with her "boyfriend", which makes her miss "him" so much.

Door bell rings, the girl finds a gift box, a bunch of flower with a letter outside the door.

After seeing the letter, the girl happily rushes out of the door with the gift box.

The girl stops in front of a new VW car, thinks of all the happy memories ( in a different angle of shooting shows those were with her VW car ).

Then, she opens the gift, takes out the car key, unlocks the new car given by Volkswagen.

The girl gets in the car and drives away, leaving the screen with the Volkswagen logo.

The car goes around the U turn drive way, then comes around.

Screens shows "We knew you would come around" as a pun.
