About me
I am a visual designer and hand-drawing artist grew up in China, and now developing my career in USA. Yu Design is my personal brand named by one character of my Chinese name "yù" which makes the logo. I love to make beautiful and practical designs and always bed meanings in them to make them unique and completed. Chinese culture background also helps me create better cross culture designs related to Asian culture.
Experience
I am a self-taught artist who always love drawing since I was little. Several projects here are based on my hand-drawn artworks.
I graduted with a bachelor degree in Event Management in China, and have work experience in related area. I learned and did branding and graphic design in school and at work. That was how I found design is so attractive to me.
Therefore, when I moved to USA, I decided to learn brand design further and got my master degree in Strategic Communication Design in CU Boulder. I have worked on different brand, UX projects with creative professionals, also worked as a solo freelance designer for some clients. Always learning and improving along with my works.
